As Modern Robot, I write soundtracks and perform them live, both to traditional silent films and to weird movies I find.
As well as movie theaters and venues across North Carolina, I've taken my versions of Faust (1926) and Night of the Living Dead (1968) to the fringe festivals of New York, San Francisco, Orlando, and Edinburgh.
I perform as a singer/songwriter, and this is an album of original songs inspired by the classic country songs of the 50's and 60's.
I play Hammond organ on The Martha Bassett Show and oversee some technical aspects of the show, including multi-camera video, lighting, and our website.
After a year or two playing drums for Matty Sheets, we recorded this album at my apartment.
